November is National Entrepreneurship Month

November is National Entrepreneurship Month. According to the White House, it’s a time to celebrate those who “create businesses that are the heart and soul of our communities.”

Your library is a resource for entrepreneurs, new businesses, and nonprofit organizations. All Oak Park business owners, nonprofits, and employees can get a library card and gain full access to all the services and resources the public library offers.

All have access to spaces, training and events, subscription-based resources, local community information—and, new this year, a Creative Studio makerspace that opens up even more possibilities.

Access creative technology for free

In the Creative Studio, you can print a poster or banner with our large-format printer. You get one free print request per month!

You can also design a logo for your business; record podcasts, audiobooks, and more in our Audio Booth; access media editing software; and much more.

Reserve a meeting space

Host your next meeting or event at the library. Reserve a room online, by phone, and when visiting a library service desk. Virtual meeting spaces are an option, too!
