Our library strives to be a library for everyone, one that prioritizes:
- Becoming an equitable and anti-racist organization;
- Connecting people and building community;
- Creating capacity for literacy, learning, and lifelong skill development; and
- Sustaining, sharing, and respecting community resources.
To report on the impact of work in these areas, the library shares monthly public updates at its Board of Library Trustees meetings, and creates annual, year in review impact reports.
These reports showcase library work that shared the information, services, and opportunities to fulfill Oak Park’s aspirations and progress toward achieving our vision: to empower every voice in our community.
Thank you for reading, and for using your public library!
