Storytime Guidelines

1. Storytime is drop-in, but room capacity is limited. Pick up daily entry tags at the Children's Desk. First come, first served.

2. Storytimes are 20 to 30 minutes long. Please arrive early—latecomers might not be admitted.

3. To attend most storytimes at the Oak Park Public Library, you must have an Oak Park Public Library card. (See above for our storytimes which are open to nonresidents.)

4. For the Library to present enjoyable and successful programs, we must limit the number of attendees in a storytime. Due to high demand, we ask that you only attend 1 program each week.

5. Please keep conversations and distractions to a minimum—snacks, toys and cell phones should be put away.

6. Have fun, sing along, and check out some books to take home!
