The month of May is officially proclaimed by the White House as Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islanders Heritage Month but also is referred to by other organizations as Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, Asian Pacific American Heritage Month, Asian/Pacific American Heritage Month, AAPI Heritage Month, and Asian Pacific Islander Desi American Month.
