The Oak Park Public Library subscribes to nearly 500 magazines, journals, and newspapers. Back issues of selected titles are available. Ask a Librarian about back issues available at area libraries.Microfilm and Microfiche
The Main Library has a microfilm/microfiche collection of historic local newspapers, telephone directories, and other resources. The Local History Index on catalog cards provides access to this material through 1987; from 1988 to the present the index is available on computer. Two microfilm reader/printers are located on the Third Floor of the Main Library.
