Summer is here, and Teen Services wants to make sure you have a great one. Sign up for library emails to keep up with what’s going on all summer!

Do stuff, earn prizes
Sign up for our Teen Summer Activities Challenge on Beanstack, for ages 14-18. The challenge runs June 6 through July 22.
Here’s how it works: You complete activities, such as getting involved with library programs and services and community projects, all while earning prizes. After earning each badge, you will qualify for the grand prize: a free trip to Six Flags Great America!

More to know: Teens making their mark with the library this summer

Artists at work
All summer, five local BIPOC student artists and professional artist Paul Branton will be bringing color and life to the white walls of our already vibrant Teen Space.
Stay tuned for the official unveiling of the Teen Space murals this fall.
Building experience and resumes
To expose teenagers to different career paths, we’re hosting our first teen internship program this summer.
Interns will be placed with the library and the Oak Park and River Forest High School Bookstore, and we hope to have more employers on board next summer.
