Curious kids welcome: Explore the world with PebbleGo & PebbleGo Next (grades K-5)

Have curious kids in grades K-5 who want to explore the world? Log in to Pebble Go and Pebble Go Next with your Oak Park library card and find answers to questions like “What do axolotls eat for breakfast?” and “How do I stand up for a friend?”

PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next are content hubs packed with articles, engaging multimedia, interactive lessons and games, and literacy supports. Both are designed to help kids explore topics according to their interests.

PebbleGo (grades K-3): Discover information on animals, biographies, health, science, and social studies.

PebbleGo Next (grades 3-5): Forge strong connections with topics—near and far from kids’ own experiences—such as Indigenous peoples’ history, biographies, health, science, social studies, and states.

With PebbleGo and PebbleGo Next, kids can enhance their learning and natural curiosity with additional related articles, short videos and sound clips, and an online dictionary for quick searches. Learning is reinforced through a variety of games and ready-made activities.

With literacy supports for readers and pre-readers, Pebble Go and Pebble Go Next help foster confidence and independence. These literacy supports include natural voice audio and highlighted text to help kids build and strengthen their vocabulary, pronunciation, and reading fluency skills.

Pebble Go helps kids develop foundational concepts such as applying critical thinking skills while engaging in online information. With a link to cited sources on each page, kids learn digital literacy skills while accessing information for school projects or for independent learning.
