Why: Foster individual lifelong learning and demonstrate to children and family members the importance of reading.

How: Participation is simple: for each book you read or listen to, turn in a reading log at the Library. This enters you into a weekly prize drawing and the grand prize drawing at the end of the program. You do not have to be present to win.

Prizes: Prizes include gift certificates and merchandise from local businesses. Prizes and additional funding are provided by the Friends of the Oak Park Public Library.

Kicking off Thursday, June 3 at all three library locations, Paws, Claws, Scales, and Tales runs through Friday, August 6. All a child needs to sign up is an Oak Park Public Library card.
