If you are an Oak Park teacher and/or childcare provider, you can request delivery or pickup of books, kits, realia, and more library materials to support your classroom and programs. This service is available for ages 0-5 and grades K-12 (please note: materials for grades 6-12 are available for pickup only). Please complete the form below, and a library staff member will follow up with you.
What to know before completing the form
- Service is based on the availability of materials, the size and type of the request, and library staff members’ capacity.
- Please submit the form in advance to allow time to fulfill your request. While we do our best to accommodate, please note that timing may vary.
- Ages 0-5 and grades K-5: three days
- Grades 6-12: two weeks
- For middle and high school teachers: If you are requesting multiple copies of a book, please use the book groups request form.
- New! Pickup is now available at the Main Library. We will contact you when your materials are ready.
- Ages 0-5 and grades K-5: Visit the service desk at the Main Library Children’s Services. Resources will be held for five days.
- Grades 6-12: Visit the holds pickup shelf in the Main Library Lobby. Resources will be held for one week.
