Take care of your body at any age: Chair yoga sessions, books, videos & more

By Health & Senior Services Librarian Rose Barnes

Yoga is a mind and body practice with many benefits such as increased flexibility, strength, and balance. It can help:

  • Reduce stress and anxiety,
  • Develop inner awareness and focus, and
  • Improve cognitive skills such as memory and understanding.

Essentially, it’s a wonderful way to help take care of your body and mind as you age. Below I’ve gathered some resources to aid with your practice, at any stage or ability level, all with a focus to meet you and your needs.
