Adults & all-ages
Movie Showing: The Librarians Documentary
Wednesday, April 22, 6–8 pm, Main Library. Celebrate National Library Week with director Kim A. Snyder’s award-winning documentary The Librarians in which library staff emerge as first responders in the fight for democracy and our First Amendment Rights. For middle schoolers through adults.
Fiber Arts Meetup
Thursday, April 23, 12–1 pm, Main Library. An event for artists and makers working with fiber arts! Come share what you make (whether you crochet, knit, sew, weave, or anything else!) in a friendly, casual environment. For adults.
American Sign Language Conversation Hour
Thursday, April 23, 7–8 pm, Main Library. For members of the Deaf community and those who sign. For elementary school kids through adults.

Shake, Rattle & Read: An energetic program designed for children up to age 5, with caregivers. Get ready to sing, dance, and listen to great stories!

Screening: Carl the Collector
Monday, April 20, 4–5 pm, Main Library. Join us for a screening of two Carl the Collector episodes! Carl the Collector is a PBS Kids show about a warm-hearted young autistic raccoon who loves to collect things.
Supported Storytime & Family Play
Tuesday, April 21, 4–4:45 pm, Main Library. Designed for children with disabilities and support needs ages 3+ with caregiver support. Classes are structured with visual schedules and include fun picture books and songs, with fine and gross motor movement activities.
Earth Day Activities for Kids & Families
Wednesday, April 22, 3:30–5 pm, Main Library. Let’s celebrate Earth Day! Participate in fun hands-on activities that promote environmental awareness, sustainability, and a connection to nature.
Healthy Foods With Beyond Hunger
Thursday, April 23, 3:30–4:30 pm, Main Library. Our friends from Beyond Hunger are here to talk about their work in the community and to help us make a delicious, healthy spring treat! Best for elementary-aged kids, younger kids are welcome with caregiver support.
Cuenta Cuentos con Kathy/Spanish Storytime With Kathy
Friday, April 24, 10–10:30 am. Acompañanos para una media hora de cuentos en español con Kathy Valdivia. Ven a escuchar historias, canciones, y baile! Este evento ayudará con el crecimiento cognitivo y fomentará el amor por la lectura y el aprendizaje.

Tuesday, April 21, 4 pm–4:30 pm, Main Library. Join us in celebrating National Library Week with a fun trivia game about libraries and library lore!
National Library Week: Shelving Contest!
Wednesday, April 22, 4–4:30 pm, Main Library. Join us at the library for a fun and fast-paced Shelving Contest in honor of National Library Week. Participants will race against the clock to shelve materials correctly using the Dewey Decimal System. No experience necessary—just bring your enthusiasm and love for libraries!
Glow With Confidence
Wednesday, April 22, 4–6 pm. Join our Beauty & Wellness program dedicated to promoting healthy beauty and wellness practices for teens. Each session we will focus on covering topics like hair care, makeup, skincare, nail care, and more.
National Library Week: Book Stacking Contest!
Thursday, April 23, 4–4:30 pm, Main Library. Participants will compete to build the tallest (or most stable!) stack of books within the time limit. No experience required—just creativity and a love of books!
Teen Debate Club
Thursday, April 23, 5:30–6:30 pm, Main Library. Whether you’re a seasoned debater or just starting out, our club offers a fun and supportive space to sharpen your skills, build confidence, and explore fun topics.

2k26 Teen Blacktop Showdown!
Friday, April 24, 5–6 pm, Main Library. Compete in fast-paced matchups, earn bragging rights, and take a shot at exclusive prizes. Space is limited, and the competition will be strong — so bring your best game.
