Announcing our newest pop-up library location: Oak Park Township, 105 S. Oak Park Ave., Oak Park!
Pop-up libraries allow community members to use the library when they’re out and about, no library card or checkouts needed.
‘A simple way to make our spaces more inviting’
The idea for this new book bin in the Township’s lobby is to engage families coming in for Township services and resources.
“By partnering on the Pop-Up Library, we’re helping ensure that everyone in our community has access to books and resources that inspire,” said Stephanie Scaletta, the Township’s Marketing and Communications Manager (pictured above with Yazmin Morales, Programs and Engagement Manager).
“This initiative reflects our mission to support the well-being of all residents by meeting them where they are—with services, support, and now, books. It’s also a simple way to make our spaces more inviting, offering something meaningful to engage with while residents wait or stop by. By working together with the library, we’re fostering strong community partnerships that strengthen connection, care, and access across Oak Park.”
