A library card provides access to library borrowing services and should be treated with care. Patrons are encouraged to report a lost or stolen library card to library staff as soon as possible. Once reported, the library card will be deactivated to help protect the patron’s account and borrowing privileges. Patrons who have not reported a library card as lost or stolen remain responsible for items checked out on the card, as well as any related charges, in accordance with the Borrowing of Library Items policy.
