Devices and kits for all ages

  • Mobile hotspots, laptops, Chromebooks, iPad Mini 2 devices, and an LCD projector can be checked out to use outside the library. Let’s get started »
  • Book Club Kits are pre-assembled bags that include 10 copies of the same popular title, discussion questions curated by Oak Park librarians, and lists of similar titles for book groups.   • Memory Kits can provide mental and emotional stimulation for people with memory loss. The kits are designed to be used to inspire conversation and build stronger connections. They include a variety of materials—books, movies, music, tools, and more—based on a theme. See Memory Kits available for checkout »
  • Recording Kits are designed specifically to record personal stories for submission to the Oak Park Oral History Project. Kits include an iPod with a charging cable, a microphone, professional headphones, and an instruction sheet, all in a plastic carrying case. Place a Recording Kit on hold »
