Hands-on learning for kids & families

Hotspots, laptops & book club kits

  • Book Club Kits are pre-assembled bags that include 10 copies of the same popular title, discussion questions curated by Oak Park librarians, and lists of similar titles for book groups. Each bag can be placed on hold by an individual Oak Park cardholder and is checked out as a single item. Find Book Club Kits in the library’s catalog »
  • Mobile hotspots, laptops, Chromebooks, iPad Mini 2 devices, and an LCD projector can be checked out to use outside the library. Let’s get started »
  • Recording Kits are designed specifically to record personal stories for submission to the Oak Park Oral History Project. Kits include an iPod with a charging cable, a microphone, professional headphones, and an instruction sheet, all in a plastic carrying case. Place a Recording Kit on hold »
