“This idea stemmed from what we heard while talking with young families and home daycare providers last summer, about feeling isolated and appreciating opportunities to meet up with other community members and home daycare providers in a public space,” said Neighborhood Services Librarian Sarah Yale.

Parks Passport 2018
The Park District of Oak Park‘s Passport program returns this summer with 10 new missions, at new locations throughout Oak Park, and a new prize plan.
This program encourages kids ages 5-13 to stay active all summer long and explore their local parks. All missions are free and accessible.
- Explore a new playground, hit a home run and learn about water conservation.
- Draw, act and discover how the Park District supports our community and recreation around the world.
- The new Wellness Boosts will challenge kids to stay active and healthy this summer.
