April 15, 2021—Last year was a year like no other. As we look ahead and plan for a library in a post-pandemic world, we want to know what you think.

That’s why we are inviting you to share your thoughts using ThoughtExchange, a unique tool for gathering feedback, and ideas in an open-ended, confidential, and easy-to-use digital environment. Our question for you is:

What are the most important things (resources and services) you think the library should be doing and offering to meet Oak Park’s needs and aspirations moving forward?

Your feedback is important! As you are responding, we suggest you consider:

  • Which of our newer services and offerings would you like to see continued?
  • What would you love to see that doesn’t exist at your library yet?
  • And what does Oak Park as a whole need from its library to be the kind of community we all want to live in?

Once you’ve shared your own thoughts, please be sure to return to review thoughts being shared by others and rate them based on how much they resonate with you. The thoughts you share and rate will help inform our planning for the future.

This exchange closed at 11:59 pm on Tuesday, April 20.

On behalf of all staff, we thank you for sharing. Please be safe and be well!
