Using

Library, the Dole Branch, and the Maze
Branch. Oak Park Public Library cards may also be used at most other libraries
in Illinois. (Please check with the library you intend to visit and ask if
they are a state-wide reciprocal borrower. Bring proof of ID and your Oak Park
Public Library card. Registration may be required on your first visit.) Residents
with Oak Park Public Library cards are also able to request interlibrary
loan service. Children may use their library cards to borrow all circulating
items at the Oak Park Public Library. The Library does not limit children to specific
collections. It is the parents' responsibility to guide their children's borrowing. Patrons
should bring their library card with them when they intend to borrow library items.
Patrons are responsible for all items checked out on their library cards. Lost
or stolen library cards should be reported to the Oak Park Public Library immediately.
Library cards are the property of the Oak Park Public Library and may be restricted
or revoked at any time. Library cards are automatically invalid when a patron
moves from Oak Park. Residents should bring their Oak Park Public Library
card with them to use an Internet computer at any
Oak Park Public Library location. Renew
