...at the Oak Park Public
Library
In addition to having been a depository for United States government documents
since 1963, the Oak Park Public Library has labored to collect census
data for the state of Illinois back to 1880. Our current collection has
the following highlights:
- Census of Population and
Housing, General Characteristics volumes containing Illinois (as well
as some other states) going back to 1880 (except for 1910)
- Chicago Area or Cook Cook
County Block maps and data back to 1970 Census
- Oak Park and Chicago Tract
maps and data back to 1960 Census
