Bricks
for Art Program
The
Bricks for Art Program has raised more than $50,000 for artwork
for the new Main Library by selling
inscribed bricks. These bricks are permanently placed in front
of the new building on Lake Street and several pieces of art
by local artists have been puchased.
"We are very appreciative of the community's wonderful
response to our Bricks for Art Program," notes Library
Trustee Naomi Law, chair of the Fundraising for Art Committee.
"We invite everyone to stop by and see the many tributes
to family, friends, books, and reading."
