Using Email

Electronic Mail, commonly called email, is a way of sending messages over the Internet to another person. In order to send email both the sender and the receiver must have email accounts.

An email account consists of:

  • an email address,
  • an email password, and
  • a place (generally a website) from which to access and send messages
