Using the Browser |

In order to access the WWW, you need a program called a browser. A browser is just a computer program that allows you to view information from the WWW. Right now you are using a browser to view this page. Probably the two most popular browser programs available today are Microsoft's Internet Explorer and Netscape's Navigator. These browsers look and function very similarly. This class will use Internet Explorer for all examples about how to use the browser.
