Come watch the Dr. Who episode "Vincent and the Doctor," and make your very own TARDIS artwork using watercolor, colored pencil, or crayons. Afterward, we'll put your TARDIS masterpiece on display at the Maze Branch! Supplies provided. Best for ages 13+

So You Want to Be a Tutor? (Session 2)

Get certified as a tutor! In collaboration with Triton College, we're offering a free, 2-day training course in tutoring and mentoring to interested teens and adults.

The training is nationally accredited in cooperation with the College Reading and Learning Association and covers topics from active listening to ethics and will benefit new and experienced tutors alike.

After completing 10 hours of training and at least 25 hours of tutoring, you can receive certification that will be recognized by colleges and other agencies.

Come to Scoville Park to watch local teens compete for a chance to advance to the regional competition in July. Besides the opportunity to hear 5 great local bands, we'll have games and chances for the audience to win some really cool prizes just for showing up.
