October 2002 events in the Main Library Project
Building Reaches Full Height
Concrete
slabs were completed for the third floor, main roof, and penthouse roof.
By the end of the month the building had reached its complete height.
Shear walls and columns were completed and masonry block work was completed
on the north side of the building. Piping, ductwork, and masonry began
on the first and second floors.
