East Side of Third Floor Roof Takes Shape
The roof line of the east side begins to take shape as half the glulam beams have been installed. (Click for larger image.)The Meyne Company began to cover openings with temporary plastic to protect the interior of the building from the weather. Vertical steel tube columns to support the third floor roof were installed on the east side. The Meyne Company completed installation of half the glulam beams, wrapped in green protective plastic, which will form the interior roof beams. Installation of glulam decking, the interior third floor roof, is scheduled to begin the first week of December. In November the Meyne Company also started cast stone base and face brick work on the north side. Inside, workers began to work with metal studs and interior block on the first floor and ductwork and piping continued on all floors.
