July 2003 events in the Main Library Project
Certificate of Substantial
Completion
On
July 14, 2003 the Village of Oak Park issued a Certificate of Substantial
Completion for the new main library building. Installation of the glass
panels that enclose the main staircase was completed and the Meyne Company
continued to complete punch list items. Shelving and furniture installation
began on Tuesday, July 22 and will continue into August.
