Main Library Opens
at Temporary Location
After
being closed 16 days for the move the Main Library opened at its temporary
location at 215 Harlem Avenue. Eighty percent of the Main Library's collection
and the majority of services continue to be available although the temporary
space is smaller. A welcomed feature of the temporary location is the
public parking lot in front of the building. The Main Library will be
at its temporary location for two years while the new main library building
is constructed at 834 Lake Street. Branch
library hours were expanded for the move process and for the two years
that the Main Library will be at its temporary location.
