Architects for the Main Library Project
Nagle Hartray Danker Kagan McKay Architect Planners of Chicago have been named architects for the project. Several of the firm's architects live in Oak Park including Dirk Danker, Don McKay, and Eric Penney.
The firm served as the local architecture firm for the award-winning Evanston Public Library which was completed two years ago. The construction phase is currently estimated to be December 2001 to December 2003.
Locally, Nagle Hartray were the designing architects for the First Bank of Oak Park and Prairie Court Apartments. The architectural firm also designed the Lincolnshire Village Hall, the University of Chicago Lab School addition, Harpo Studios, and Garibaldi Square in Chicago.
