Summer 2008 Storytime Outreach Interns
Looking to hone your skills as a storytime provider, and
learn more about developing early literacy? The Oak Park Public
Library Children's Services Department is seeking two Storytime
Outreach Interns for this summer. Interns will partner with
each other to plan and perform storytimes for preschoolers and
children in daycare. Training will be provided.
Applicants should be currently enrolled in either a Library
Science program or an Early Childhood Education program. Applicants
must have reliable transportation. The internship will run from
the week of June 9th through the week of August 11th. Interns
will work 10 hours a week, with three weekday morning shifts.
The internship pays $12 an hour.
