Storytime Outreach Provider
Looking to hone your skills as a storyteller, and learn more
about developing early literacy? The Oak Park Public Library Children's Department is seeking a Storytime Outreach Provider for a 10
week internship. This intern will plan and perform storytimes for
2-5 year olds in local daycares partnered with another employee. Training
will be provided.
Applicants should be currently enrolled in either a Library
Science program or an Early Childhood Education program. Applicants
should have a reliable vehicle and be willing to share short
distance driving duties.
This internship runs from April 5 through June 11. Interns
will work 3 mornings a week for a total of 10 hours per week and will be
paid $10 per hour.
